RISING 8TH GRADE COLLEGE VISIT

Crosby Scholars encourages students to tour college campuses as they embark upon the college exploration process. The Rising 8th Grade College Tour is an exciting early awareness activity that is available to all rising 8th grade Crosby Scholars the summer after their 7th grade year. Students must be in good standing with Crosby Scholars to be eligible to participate. Space is limited and students must register to attend.

During these visits, students have the opportunity to tour local college campuses, attend admissions presentations, and potentially meet and ask questions of college faculty and students. The college tours give students an opportunity to learn about the different types of educational institutions, academic programs, campus life, and admission requirements. By taking advantage of this opportunity, students learn the benefit of successfully preparing for post-secondary education.
