DESCRIPTION:A campus visit is your opportunity to get a firsthand view of a college. During Fall Break (10/11) the Crosby Scholars High School Program will offer a FREE day trip for interested students to visit Appalachian State University in Boone\, NC. During this visit\, students will have the opportunity to tour the campus\, and more. Space is limited\, so register as soon as possible! \nTo secure a spot on the tour: \n\nFirst\, you must register using your Crosby Scholars portal or from your Smore Newsletter.\nNext\, you must submit a signed Parent Permission Form to your Crosby representative\, the Crosby Scholars office (by fax\, mail\, or drop-off) or take a picture and email to mwaller@crosbyscholarsrowan.org) by Friday\, October 6th. The parent permission form is attached to this event and will also be emailed to students once they register. Failure to submit a completed permission form by the deadline will result in forfeiting your spot on the tour to someone on the waiting list.\n\nThe bus will depart on Wednesday\, October 11th from the parking lot of Superior Storage (725 Jake Alexander Blvd South – Across from Culver’s) at 7:45am and return by 4:30pm. DESCRIPTION:Spring Break College Tour – UNCG & NCAT \nA campus visit is your opportunity to get a firsthand view of a college. During Spring Break (03/14) the Crosby Scholars program will offer a FREE day trip for interested students to visit UNCG & NCAT in Greensboro\, NC. During these tours\, students will have the opportunity to experience both campuses\, attend admission presentations\, and interact with current Crosby Alumni. Space is limited\, so register as soon as possible! \nTo secure a spot on the tour: \n\nFirst\, you must register here in your Crosby Scholars portal.\nNext\, you must submit a signed Parent Permission Form to your Crosby representative\, the Crosby Scholars office (by fax\, mail\, or drop-off) or take a picture and email to ebrooks@crosbyscholarsrowan.org) by Thursday\, March 10th. The parent permission form is attached to this event and will also be emailed to students once they register. Failure to submit a completed permission form by the deadline will result in forfeiting your spot on the tour to someone on the waiting list.\n\nMonday\, March 14th – UNCG & NCAT \nThe bus will depart on Monday\, March 14th from the parking lot of Extra Space Storage (725 Jake Alexander Blvd) at 8:30am and return by 5:30pm. This event is free and lunch is included. You can bring your own snacks and spending money\, if you want! \nOnly 40 spots are available for this tour date. Spots are available first-come first-served based on online registration and permission forms received in advance. A waiting list will be created if the tour fills up. If a spot becomes available\, students will be contacted in the order they registered. If you register for this event and find out that you are unable to attend\, please make sure to cancel your registration in the portal so that another student can have your spot.
