The event will conclude at 11:45am. Please pick-up students promptly at the end of Academy. \n\nParents\, please note\, by allowing your student(s) to attend the Crosby Scholars Academy\, you are agreeing to the terms of the Parent Partnership Agreement located in your student’s portal. This agreement will remain in effect for the duration of your student’s participation in the program.  Should you not agree with these terms\, you are required to contact the Executive Director\, Jessica Vess\, before allowing your student to attend the Crosby Scholars Academy. SUMMARY:Volunteer Opportunity - Explore the Greenway 5K (Overton Elementary PTA)
DESCRIPTION:Overton PTA is looking for energetic volunteers to help make this fun event a success!\nHotdog dinner free for all volunteers! \nWe need volunteers to help welcome runners and also to cheer participants on along the route.  Many participants will be ELEMENTARY AGED STUDENTS so volunteers can cheer\, applaud\, or run alongside them.  The 5K route begins at Knox Middle School and proceeds through the Greenway\, Eagle Heights neighborhood and back to the Knox track for the finish line.  The “Monster 1/2 Mile” fun run is around the Knox track.  Being so close to Halloween this year\, the Explore the Greenway 5K is advertising as “Spooky Edition” so costumes are welcome! \n Please note that the event is on a THURSDAY evening.  \nQuestions?  Email ptaoverton@gmail.com

DESCRIPTION:ROWAN COUNTY COLLEGE FAIR\nEach year\, a regional college fair is held in Rowan County featuring over 50 colleges and universities from NC and the southeast. This event is free to the public. High school Crosby Scholars are required to attend 1 college fair or tour 4 college campuses before graduation. Attending this event will meet that requirement. \nRowan County College Fair\nSunday\, October 27\, 2019\n3pm-5pm\nCatawba College – Gymnasium \nPlease take this form with you to the college fair. (Copies of this form will also be available at check-in.) \nAt the College Fair\, we ask that you meet with 4 college representatives and ask each rep to sign your form verifying your conversation.
