DESCRIPTION:SAT Boot Camp\nThe SAT is one of the entrance exams used by colleges to determine admission. It is critical that students put time and effort into preparing for this test. The Crosby Scholars program has partnered with Educational Testing Consultants (ETC) to host an SAT Bootcamp for 25 Seniors/Juniors. \nThis SAT Bootcamp will consist of 3 Saturday sessions. Students must commit to attend all 3 dates in order to participate. Each session will be held at RCCC building 600 and lasts 2 hours\, from 9:45 am – 11:45 am: \n\nSeptember 7th\,\nSeptember 14th\nSeptember 21st\n\nThe ETC SAT test preparation program covers all the skills needed for success on the SAT. Class sessions use real SAT problems so that you know just what to expect on test day. DESCRIPTION:Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (North Campus – 600 Bldg)\n1333 Jake Alexander Boulevard South\, Salisbury\, NC \nREGISTER NOW! \nEach Crosby Scholar is required to attend one Crosby Academy per school year. Students at Crosby Academy will participate in 2 workshops that focus on personal and academic skills to increase potential for success in school and life. \n\nAcademy will be held from 9:30 am-11:45 am. Please eat before you arrive\, NO FOOD will be provided.\nFollow our signs on campus to Building 600 for student drop-off\, registration\, etc.\nCheck-in from 9:10 am-9:30 am. You must stay for the entire Academy and submit an attendance sheet in order to receive credit for this program requirement.\nThe event will conclude at 11:45 am. Please pick-up students promptly at the end of Academy.\n\n*Parents please note\, by allowing your student(s) to attend the Crosby Scholars Academy\, you are agreeing to the terms of the Parent Partnership Agreement located in your student’s portal. This agreement will remain in effect for the duration of your student’s participation in the program. Should you not agree with these terms\, you are required to contact the Executive Director\, Jessica Vess\, before allowing your student to attend the Crosby Scholars Academy. Once your student attends Academy\, the agreement is in effect until the student voluntarily withdraws from the program or does not fulfill a program requirement. \nDo you need a ride to Academy?\nYou will be responsible to secure transportation to & from Crosby Academy. If transportation is an obstacle for you\, we have a bus available from certain HS campuses each date. The bus location for this Academy is in red below. Please make sure you register for the Academy date that offers the bus stop that is closest to you\, if you need to ride the bus. \nAcademy – 4 on 01/12/19: If you live near East Rowan High School and need a ride to RCCC for Academy on Saturday 01/12\, come to ERHS to catch the bus by 9:00 am. After Academy\, have your parent/guardian pick-up from ERHS at 12:00 noon.
