What counts as Community Service ?
Community service includes unpaid activities that help others or benefit your community.
Examples include:
- Volunteering through Scouts, school clubs, or civic organizations
- Participating in church-sponsored service projects (such as food drives or mission work)
- Assisting at community events, local shelters, nursing homes, or food pantries
- Helping with cleanup projects, tutoring younger students, or supporting local nonprofits
- Membership in a club or organization does not count as community service by itself — however, volunteering through a club-sponsored event does.
